Q. What is a Casino Host?
A. Casino marketing departments hire hosts to seek out VIP and High Roller players in an effort to attract them in the door with promotions such as free rooms and show tickets.
Q. Why should I book with you as opposed to someone on property?
A. As an independent host, I have established relationships with properties all over the western hemisphere. I am your one stop shop, your outlet for booking your casino vacation. Allow my relationships with the staff on property at your destination to provide you with the best possible gaming experience. I am able to make reservations for rooms, show tickets, dinners, limos to and from the airport, etc. There is no need for any additional phone calls; it’s all about convenience.
Q. What type of players do you service?
A. At a minimum, any player that averages four hours a day playing at least $3.00 a pull on the machines or $50.00 per hand at the tables is considered for casino rates and room comps.
Q. What is a high roller? Am I one?
A. I get this question most frequently. Like the old adage about an expensive car, usually if one has to ask about their status they already know the answer. (See above, however, as one doesn’t have to be a “high roller” to receive VIP services) A high roller, generally speaking, is anyone who plays for at minimum of four hours per day averaging no less than $25.00 per slot pull or $250.00 per table bet.
Q. How do you guys come up with these averages?
A. ALWAYS play with a rating card. That card is used to calculate your average bets and what the casino can afford to extend promotion-wise as a thank you for your business. That card determines whether or not your room will be free at the end of the trip, if dinner and the show are free that night, and even if you can get an airfare reimbursement at the time of check out. All of this is based on the amount of money wagered over the course of the trip. Pick up your ratings card at the Players’ Club or at the table and let the rewards begin!
