The New Orleans property has right around 300 rooms, but has negotiated with other hotels close by to make sure everyone is accommodated with easy access to the casino by shuttle in the event of a sell out. Priority over New Years is given to the Seven Star Players, however, there are still enough of them to cause a sell out. That’s right, just like the title says, unless you have the good fortune of living in South Florida or the middle of a desert, winter is already upon us and an escape plan must be devised. Fortunately, Your LV Host has a plan: make sure the passports are up to date then call and ask about Hard Rock Punta Cana, the Atlantis at Paradise Island, Bahamas, or any other Caribbean property or cruise.

With recent play history, room comps at the two mentioned properties are relatively easy to come by, and when they are not the casino rate is relatively low. Additionally, with the cost of airfare to Punta Cana sometimes being high (due in large part in America to the amount of extra fuel having to fly completely around instead of over Cuba) the Hard Rock property is known to occasionally, but still relatively rarely, look at the possibility of airfare credits after the trip. The drinking and gambling age in the Caribbean is 18, so there is fun for everyone, including college students home for those much needed Thanksgiving and Winter breaks.
